Why isn’t this anger directed towards black Africans who have money or are members of investment groups or SACCOs with a lot money, who cannot take any risk to invest in black African businesses? Investors have a right to choose whoever they want. #investing twitter.com/doitbetty/stat…
On this funding issue - investors have a right to choose where and to whom they want to give their money. Why can’t black Africans start investing in their own? How many Africans who have money will take a bet on another African with a risky business idea? twitter.com/marigathoithi/…
This won’t make sense at all, as there are better places to do this. What makes twitter unique is forcing a user to get straight to the point in a tweet of few characters. Bring the edit button now - it’s what most people want ! twitter.com/twitterwrite/s…
@Lasterbosire @paimadhu And neo-racism. Our governments don’t fight back!
Very insightful. #PressFreedom twitter.com/karenattiah/st…
@Lasterbosire @paimadhu There is no justification at all. What does the transit visa do apart from generating cash for the Schengen countries- the cost of transit visa is same as cost for short term regular visa (about 80Euros)
@ForeignOfficeKE You should protest the new requirements for Kenyans to obtain transit visa when traveling thru Schengen region. Visa fee is high and many passengers will shun @KenyaAirways to seek alternative travel routes. @StateHouseKenya
Transit visa again?? This is just fleecing Kenyans now twitter.com/judiwakhungu/s…
More conflict, more money and power to the countries who produce weapons… maybe we we need to think of other way to make the world better. #emmmw #oneandonly #wedontaf
It beats logic to tax heavily and then put subsidy on the same fuel . Why not just reduce tax ? twitter.com/ntvkenya/statu…
@Cofek_Africa Also remember parliament can repeal a whole law if they decided to. #ICTbill
@Cofek_Africa I understand all this. I said your recommendations shared (which can be offered to parliament if Pres doesn’t sign ) are absurd and just plain backwards and no experienced ICT professional would support such. #ICTBill
This is very unfortunate coming from @Cofek_Africa . Do you even have any experienced ICT professionals? The #ICTbill is not a need in Kenya and will only serve to curtail the industry. Proficiency in ICT has nothing to do with formal college education. twitter.com/Cofek_Africa/s…
Over 80% of manufacturing jobs in Kenya are casual and low paying , which often perpetuates slums and poverty. ICT jobs are well paying, promote innovation and entrepreneurship. It is one resource Kenya can have an advantage with. #ICTBillKenya
Non of the major presidential candidates has come out to oppose the ICT bill , which is unnecessary in Kenya. ICT creates well paying jobs as opposed to many other sectors including the much hyped manufacturing @RailaOdinga @WilliamsRuto
